I've got a Kindle, but I only use it to read books.  I rarely even use its web browser.  But there is an increasing variety of games for the Kindle--paid apps as well as free ones.  And reviewers state that these games are quite well-done.  As of this writing, there are 3 games in the top 10 paid Kindle downloads, and several free games available as well.  All this for a monochrome device with a 6-inch screen.

Slot machines are not just for casinos and cruise ships anymore!  That was news to me.  I knew you could purchase pinball machines or arcade-style video games for home use, but I had no idea that slot machines were also available.

Strangely enough, I learned this on my most recent trip to pick up Mr. College Student for spring break.  Before I cross the bridge into Philadelphia, I pass through a now-familiar retail corridor that includes a Lamborghini dealership, Dunkin' Donuts, a convenience store, several gas stations (last chance to get gas you don't have to pump yourself!) and a locally-famous Italian restaurant.
