Were you ever to save that annoyingly addictive puzzle? I couldn't do it, but my brother could.

It was a fun game, but I don't think I'd like it immortalized on the wall of my bedroom.  However, a friend of my family is trying to convince my daughter that she should do exactly that when she chooses a new paint color for her room.

Apparently he's got quite the stash of paint in his garage, so when she mentioned that she wanted to paint her room, he immediately volunteered some purple and black.

That's quite a change from the bright orange she's got on the walls in there now.  Just the thought of how many coats of paint it will take to cover that bright orange is a bit staggering.

Miss Freshman informed our friend that purple and black would make the room quite dark.  That's when the suggestion was made to paint each wall a different color--like a Rubik's Cube.

I guess the one good thing here is that one of her walls could remain orange, and we'd only have to repaint the other three.  Or maybe that's not a good thing at all.

How about a nice shade of robin's-egg blue instead?
