I am soooooo behind on posting blog awards that I've been so fortunate to receive. If someone out there has a "Ridiculously Late With Gratification Award" I most definitely deserve it and I'll graciously accept it. Though it may take me a few weeks to do so. Sigh.

Anyways, I'll try to be brief and knock these out in one quick shot. So buckle your seat belts, keep your hands and arms inside the car at all times, and please, oh please, don't feed the Mogwai if it's after midnight when you're reading this. Just trust me on that one.

The most recent award (which I'm only like 1 day late on, so I'm technically not even late! Woo!) is the Good Buzz Blog Awards, which Tish just buzzed my way. Even though I do have certain allergies to bees (well, technically it's white hornets and yellowjackets), I don't think Tish had anything malicious in mind when she sent it my way. According to the award's creator (Hi, Polli!), this one is "for blogs that have generated a happy hum in the blogosphere. Whether it be for their blog in general, one outstanding, unusual or controversial post, or for something cool the blogger has done." Apparently I did something good. Or cool. But seeing as how I'm perpetually stuck in the '80s, my money is on "something good."

I'm sending this one out to: Ms. Danielle, Jo and the entire staff of Blogs We Luv (cause they all do a kickin' job on that site).

I recently got the Thank You For Being My Friend Award (created by the very thankful Mel) from Tish. I guess that makes us friends, huh, Tish? Either that or you think I'm ridiculously wrinkly. Heh. Whatever the case, I'm honored. You've taught me more than you know about blogging, particularly on the community angle in terms of replying to people's comments and following them over to their blogs. And you've shown me that not everyone out there in the blogsophere is out for a quick buck; there are actually a lot of wonderfully great and fascinating people that you surprisingly can find yourself calling "friends" before you know what hit ya.

I'm passing this sucker on to the following bloggers who I have the privilege of calling my friend (and hopefully, gulp, they feel the same way in return): Christy, Amy, Polli and Kat.

And this next one, oddly enough, is from some blogging gal named Tish. Y'know, if this keeps up, somebody's gonna think these awards are rigged... Or maybe everyone in the blogosphere just hates me. Heh. Anyways, in keeping with tradition of giving me flowery or girlie-looking awards, Tish passed on this spiffy Mariuca Super Star Award awhile back. I'm not exactly sure what this one means, except that Mariuca awarded a slew of her loyal readers with it just for being so supportive of her. So I'm not sure how this translates once someone else passes it on, but I'll take it as a sign that I rock. Plus, Mariuca has some awesome drawings on her blog and is easily one of the most bubbly bloggers I've ever seen.

I think Loretta, Danielle, Cathy and Liza are all superstars too, so I'm giving this one to them.
Be The Blog award And finally, to round out this session of the Tish Awards, I was awarded the Be The Blog award. Mark, the award's creator, whipped this one up for successful bloggers, bloggers who can "be the blog" and just "make it their own, stay with it, are interactive with their readers, and just plain have fun." I like it! Plus, Mark even has a few color variations of the award available.
