A typical Saturday for me involves strolling down the aisles of Walmart. As always, I have a million things on my list: birthday gifts, detergent, prescriptions, shampoo and new sneakers. And what's for dinner tonight? The fridge is empty, but I can grab a quick meal here, too. Getting everything I need in one place means I'll actually be on time to pick the boys up from soccer. What did people do before there was a Walmart? They spent their whole day running errands, that's what. When Sam Walton founded the first Walmart store in 1962, I bet he had no idea it would grow to over 11,000 stores in 27 countries and change the way we shop forever.
