It was the late 1950s when a couple of brothers decided to go into the pizza business. With a $600 loan from mom, the duo, plus a friend, opened the first Pizza Hut in Wichita, Kansas. It only took a year for the business to take off, and the franchise was on the rise in the 1960s. Now, the iconic red roofs that make Pizza Hut instantly recognizable sit atop restaurants that serve pizza, wings, pasta and desserts throughout the world. Each restaurant serves a choice of at least four crusts, different types of sauces, and a wide selection of toppings, allowing you to fully customize your pizza.
