In the 1970s, beauty industry professionals Mark Constantine and Liz Weir partnered to develop and sell all-natural hair care and beauty products made with only fresh, natural ingredients. After achieving success marketing their products and eventually selling their formulations to other companies, Mark and Liz joined with a group of friends in creating handmade products from fruits and vegetables to sell in a tiny shop in Poole, England, and invented their own natural fragrances to scent the items. Inviting customers to suggest a name for the new company, they settled on LUSH. In 1996, LUSH was introduced to North America, and now has over 210 shops in the U.S. and Canada, selling its all natural, eco-friendly packaged products. Shop in-store or on the LUSH website for fresh, handmade bath and body, skincare, perfume and hair products. The company is a huge supporter of cruelty-free research, environmental and humanitarian charity organizations.
