Overstock.com carries a wide variety of products from clothing and jewelry to electronics and appliances.  Should a customer wish to return a purchase, they need to adhere to the following return policy.

In order to return merchandise to Overstock.com, customers should first login to their Overstock.com account, and select the order and specific item they wish to send back. Overstock.com will send a return label via email that must be attached to the package. Items must usually be returned within 30 days and all returns must include the original packing materials, manuals, etc. International customers are responsible for return postage. For more information on international returns, customers can send an email to international@overstock.com. Overstock.com doesn’t allow the return of some products. These include swimwear, underwear, gift cards, perfumes, final sales items, large screen TVs, medical items, ink cartridges, and others. For a complete list, check on the website.

Refunds and items sent back according to the Overstock.com exchange policy are processed on returned items in several ways. First, all returns are inspected to see if they are in good shape and unworn. If a return is not due to an error by Overstock.com, the customer will receive a refund minus all shipping fees. If the item is returned after 30 days, the refund will be smaller. Refunds will be made within about four weeks of the return to the type of payment used to buy the merchandise. For instance, if you paid by credit card, you will receive a credit card refund.
