In-Store Purchases
Returns are best made within 60 days of the original date of purchase and with the original receipt. For these returns, the costumer will be given the choice of an exchange or a full refund. Refunds with the receipt (and before the 60 day period) will be in the form of the original payment.
After this 60 day period is up, or if you do not have a receipt, you can still return your item and get an exchange. However, if you simply want a refund, you will only be refunded the lowest current selling price, which means you may not receive a full refund if the prices are different.
Online Orders and Phone Orders
For the most part, the merchandise return policy remains the same for online and phone orders. In these cases, orders can be mailed back or taken to any Lane Bryant store, and the packing slip will serve as the receipt. For more details, ask an associate at the store or call customer service.
Restrictions and Other Policies
All returns and exchanges require a valid ID. They also retain the right to refuse returns or exchanges if they feel that costumers are abusing their return policy or exchange policy in any way. This includes, but is not limited to, clothing that appears worn, clothing without tags, or clothing that's otherwise not in good condition. They may also refuse returns if items are no longer carried in stock.
