International Shipping Procedures at the Discovery Store

Even if you don't reside in the US, you can still order items through international shipping at the Discover Store. There are some differences that you should be aware of. Here are the basics.

Where Do They Ship?
Currently, the Discovery Store offers shipping to all of the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. They do not ship to any international P.O. Box at this time. If you are outside these areas, you won't be able to order directly from the Discovery Store site.

Shipping Rates
There is an extensive chart of all the shipping rates on the Discovery Store website. The shipping is calculated based on the overall amount of your order, and not based on the weight or number of items. Alaska and Hawaii have higher shipping rates than the other states. International orders are not eligible for express shipping options, and the shipping rates will range from $9 to $70 depending on your merchandise total.

Shipping Times
Since international orders may have to go through customs, there is no guarantee on the shipping times. In general it can take anywhere from 4 to 10 business days. Because customs may be involved in the process, international tracking may not be available. If you've ordered in Canada or the UK, UPS handles the shipping. You may be able to track the package through UPS directly.
