Columbia House Membership offers a great membership deal for new customers. If you sign up, you get to choose 3 DVD’s for $1 each plus shipping and handling, and commit to buy more in the next year. There is no membership cost or fee to join. However, if you take advantage of this offer, you are committing to purchase 3 additional DVDs at full price (19.95 or more). If the minimum commitment is met, it averages out to $8 to 10 per DVD, plus shipping and handling.

In addition, you get to take advantage of special sales and automatic selections which you can return anytime.   The special sales prices are lower than standard full priced videos, and can lower the average you pay per DVD.  Columbia House offers a wide selection of videos and is your one stop shop for movies, music and more. Video games and other items purchased that are not DVDs do not count toward your membership commitment.

Once you have met the commitment of the 3 additional DVDS (or 2 if you take advantage of the 4th DVD on the initial sign up for only $9.95) then you are welcome to cancel at any time without any cancellation fee.
