What is the Return Policy at Carnival Cruise

All cancellations and refunds are based on the length of the trip and take into consideration how many days prior to departure the trip is cancelled according to the Return Policy. In order to look up which early refund applies to you, look up your length of cruise first and then check how many days prior to sailing it is to see the amount you will be refunded. It is important to note that government fees and taxes are excluded.   Cruises-to-nowhere have an automatic 25% of fare charge cancellation fee. In most cases, deposits are non-refundable.

2 to 5 Day Cruises

If cancelled 2 months or more (61 days) prior to departure, there is no fee and full fare will be refunded. If cancelled between 30 to 60 days, only the deposit will be kept, and 8 to 29 days prior will result in 50% of the fare kept as a charge; and 7 days or less prior to departure leads to forfeiture of entire fare.

6 to 8 Day Cruises

If cancelled 76 days in advance, no fee except for early saver fares. For 30 to 75 days prior, only the deposit is kept and the remainder of the fare is refundable. If cancelled 8 to 29 days prior, 50% of the fare is kept as a charge. If cancelled 7 days or less prior, entire fare is forfeited.

Alaska Cruises or 10 day and Longer Cruises

If cancelled 76 days in advance, no fee. If 46 to 75 day notice is given, only the deposit is kept. If 15 to 45 days prior, then 50% of fare is refundable. At 14 days or less, entire fare forfeited.
