How to Rent Games Online at Blockbuster

Blockbuster game rental online allows you to locate the game of your choice easily online, use the store locator and then pick up the game at the store nearest you that has it in stock. As of right now Blockbuster online does not have a way in which customers can actually Rent Games through their mail service, so the process for game rental through Blockbuster online is only to check availability at local stores. The online store does offer Movie Rental or DVD Rental online through their mail order service.

Going to the Website

First and foremost go to Blockbuster.com and on the homepage you will see a blue tool bar. The tool bar is located on the top of the page to the right of the Blockbuster logo, select the Games tab.

Search and Select

Once on the games homepage you can find what you’re looking for a few ways. Directly located on the homepage are the new releases, the coming soon, and the top 10 for the main consoles. If you’re game is not featured on the main page you can choose to search through Platforms, Categories or Ratings. Platforms are the type of console you own, Categories is the type of game you want and Ratings is based on what the game is rated. 

Renting 

Once you have selected your game of choice on the right hand side of the page for the game there will be a buy game and other ways to play option. Under the other ways to play, you will see the Rent Game in Store option until the company makes mail service available. Select the link to check availability and there enter your address or zip code to find your local stores. There a list will come up with your local stores and the availability of your chosen game, giving you the option of going to physical rent it.
