Baby Universe Shipping Methods and Costs

Like many websites, Baby Universe offers a number of different shipping methods for their costumers. Details of each of these shipping methods are listed below.

Standard Shipping and Second Day Shipping

Standard ground shipping begins with a processing time of 2 to 3 business days. Here, business days are considered Monday through Friday and exclude all US Federal Holidays. Actual shipping time is estimated at 5 to 7 business days. For Second Day shipping, orders still take 2 to 3 business days for processing, but once processed, orders are guaranteed to arrive within 2 business days. Note that processing does not begin until the day following the purchase, if you made your purchase after 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.

Next Day Express Shipping

For Next Day Express Shipping, processing time is only 1 to 2 business days, though again, processing will wait until the day after your purchase if the order is made after 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Actual shipping time is guaranteed to be only 1 business day.

Prices, Volume Orders and Oversized Items

Prices are determined based on the weight of your order combined with the location it is being shipped to. Unless otherwise indicated, orders are automatically grouped for shipping together as a volume order, which usually entails a volume discount on shipping. Oversized items, which are items that are especially heavy or oddly shaped, must be shipped separate through a freight trucking company and will usually arrive within 7 to 14 business days after leaving the warehouse.
