Some sites, however, will give you a lock-box storage freezer to keep outside your house so they can deliver your groceries without you even being home. Keep in mind that not every delivery food service offers the same products: some don't offer perishables, while others are as stocked as your local supermarket.
Since most online grocery stores are a bit different, there's a number of things you should keep in mind when selecting your online grocer. Besides making sure you're on a company's delivery route, check the return policy. Nothing's worse than getting stuck with some rotten fruit, the wrong box of cereal or noticing half your order's missing. Now, not all online grocers carry every single brand, so if you have a favorite, you may have to do some shopping around to find it. Be aware that some online grocers accept regular manufacturer coupons, and you most likely will be charged a delivery fee.
