WEB BUYING GUIDE.com: Earn money using the Internet

Want to make some extra cash while using the Internet? Well, there are plenty of companies that will pay you to watch ads, read e-mail, look at Websites, make their homepage your startpage, etc. No, you won't make big bucks doing this, but if you get your friends to sign up too, your earnings and referral fees can certainly start adding up.

MyPoints.com
MyPoints doesn't pay in cash, but the the gift certificates and other things you can earn are almost as good. To earn points needed for the rewards, you can read e-mail, look at Websites, shop, fill out surveys, or sign up for trial offers. You can earn even more by referring your friends.

NetFlip
NetFlip pays you to try products and services. You can earn up to $20 for signing up for a credit card, subscribing to a newspaper, joining a book club, or signing up for phone service. Each offer pays a different amount. NetFlip claims you can earn over $500 cash in less than an hour. But don't go overboard. Signing up for 10 credit cards just to earn some cash is probably not a good idea.

Ignifuge
If you're willing to make Ignifuge.com the start page on your Web browser, this site is willing to pay you. Ignifuge says they'll pay you 5 cents each time you visit their homepage, and if you sign up your friends, they'll pay you 2 cents each time your direct referrals visit, and 1 cent when your referral's referrals visit (limited to three levels of indirect referrals). However, the site has a disclaimer which says that Ignifuge.com doesn't make any guarantee about how much members will be paid. So actual rates may differ from their stated rates. Additionally, you need to use the service yourself in order to get paid for your referrals. Ignifuge.com also pays users for taking advantage of special offers.

Sadly, all of the other sites listed on this page have ended their programs or gone out of business. We will add new Websites to this page as we find new programs worthy of telling you about.

KEEP IN MIND

Before using these programs, you should know that:

1. Some of these services may monitor your Internet usage while you're using their software. In order to learn your interests so they can better target the ads you see, the software may keep track of which Web pages you visit and look at your computer's configuration. If that's not acceptable to you, don't use services that do this.

2. Some programs require you to use the service yourself if you want to earn any money - even from your referrals.

3. These programs have a minimum dollar amount that you must earn before getting paid. Some of them may also be slow to write you a check. So it could be many months before you actually receive a penny from these companies.
