Lifetouch, Inc. began back in 1936, when photographers Bruce Reinecker and Eldon Rothgeb began marketing their services to one-room schoolhouses throughout Minnesota. Just over a decade later, they were well-known as the largest school photography company in the country. In 1978, Lifetouch became a wholly employee-owned company, and today Lifetouch provides class and individual portraits to schools across the nation, as well as photographing senior portraits and yearbooks and events like proms, graduations, band, dance, theater, choir and clubs. Lifetouch is also the studio of choice for many family portraits and sports organizations. Lifetouch Portrait Studios, Inc. runs portrait studios inside select Target and JCPenney stores, as well as Flash! Digital Portraits. Community groups, churches and businesses also contract with Lifetouch for event photography. School pictures and a variety of products featuring your child's picture can be ordered online at the Lifetouch Photogifts website.
