Bigstock Photo was founded in California in 2004 and is known for being one of the leading sites for stock images. The site has over 4 million images (photographs and illustrations) from talented artists from around the world. There are several different images available for downloading on the site, Architecture, Animals, Art Illustration and People as well as many others. In order to purchase one of the images you must first become a member that is offered for free. You can then purchase credits at a cost starting at $15 for five credits. If you are an artist, you can add your images to the site, where you will receive $0.50 for each image that is downloaded.
