The tradition of elaborately-scripted invitations to the high-school prom continues. My daughter's a freshman now, and she's already hoping to be asked to the prom in some creative, unusual way--two years from now.
Here's photo evidence of one of this year's more colorful prom-invitation ideas.
I'm hoping that the guy doing the inviting was standing near the car when his prospective date saw this, since there are no names on any of the gazillion Post-It notes that were used in this ingenius way of setting up a prom date.
I'm kind of curious, though--were those the "Super Sticky" variety of Post-Its, or did they all blow off the van's rear window as soon as it pulled out onto the highway that fronts the school?
