If you're a regular reader of this space, you know that I'm a huge fan of using grocery coupons.  I love to find ways to save on the groceries my family uses!  So I get a couple of different newspapers each weekend, share coupons I won't use with a neighbor, and find ways to match coupons with sales.

Over the last couple of weeks, Sunday papers have contained quite a few coupons for Easter candy.  It's that time of year, after all; the Cadbury Creme Eggs have been available in stores since the Valentine's Day conversation hearts moved off the shelves and into the clearance bins.

If you're planning on purchasing Easter candy, don't go to the store without your coupons.  But don't wait too long, either.  When I snipped those coupons out of the newspaper inserts these past couple of weeks, I noticed the short expiration dates on these coupons.

Normally, coupons for holiday candy expire on the holiday.  Easter this year is April 24.  But many of the coupons I clipped from the newspaper inserts expire on April 2!

Consider this a Public Service Announcement for the Easter Bunny:  shop early for the best savings on Easter candy!
