When teenagers get together, the topic of movies is sure to come up. The girls have been busy
talking about Mean Girls 2, which has gotten a lot of attention despite skipping the theaters entirely and going straight to TV.
Just watching the trailer makes me really glad I'm not in high school anymore. As in the first movie, these girls have taken nastiness and clique behavior to a whole new level. Add a little cyberbullying to the mix, along with tripping and ipecac poisoning, and you've got some villains any teenage girl will love to hate--while at the same time being jealous of their cars, their rooms, and their fabulous wardrobes.
A lot of movie fans say that this sequel can't compare to the original Mean Girls, but the Facebook nastiness takes the bullying up a notch. I guess this type of movie is the current decade's Revenge of the Nerds.
