This Sunday's Super Bowl is a party-worthy occasion.  For football fans, it's a matchup of two top-notch teams.  For people interested in seeing some of the most clever advertising that will hit TV all year, it's a chance to do something we normally avoid:  watch the commercials.  I know that there are some of us (myself included) who will ignore the game entirely, but refuse to miss the commercials.

Last year, my favorite Super Bowl ad, by far, was the Snickers ad featuring Betty White.  The whole family loved it; my kids had no clue, at that point, who Betty White is--but they still appreciated the joke.  And since last year's Super Bowl, my two teenagers have come to appreciate White's comic talent outside of candy-bar commercials.

Besides football and commercials, there's one other thing that comes to mind when most people think of the Super Bowl:  food.  My husband will want to order out for Buffalo wings.  My kids will beg me to make my Pepperoni Bread.  There will be Super-size Bowls of popcorn and chips.  Because no matter what your favorite team is, or even whether you like football or not, everyone can agree that this is a great excuse for a party.
