Smartphones can help you do a whole lot of things. All that is great, and certainly super-convenient. But if your smartphone is lost or stolen, you've put access to an awful lot of personal information in the hands of a stranger. Even if you're good about using secure (and frequently-changed) passwords, thieves can still wreak havoc with your personal or business contacts, and possibly your social-network accounts as well.
Be phone smart! Log out of your accounts when you're done using them. Don't make heavy bank transactions on your smartphone. Use secure passwords and change them often. And never accept the option to save your username and password.
