On these cold winter days--like yesterday, when we woke up to an ice storm--I'm really glad I have a Snuggie™.
It gets a good amount of use in my drafty house. If I'm sitting, I'm probably in my Snuggie™. My daughter has even taken hers to school; some of the teachers don't mind if the kids add "blanket with sleeves" to the required school uniform.
But I can't wear my Snuggie™ every minute of every day. Sometimes I have to do things like cook, clean, and leave the house. That's when things start to get a little messy.
It's not so easy to fold a Snuggie™; it tends to flop all over the place and become a big messy ball of fabric. So where do you put one when you're not wearing it?
If I didn't like my coffee table so much, I'd consider trading it in for a storage ottoman. Right now I've got a basket between my desk and the love seat (how convenient!) and I kind of roll up the Snuggie™ and stuff it in there. Classy.
I'm thinking that a better solution would be a large wicker basket that I could slide under the coffee table (once I remove Mr. College Student's guitar case--why is that still here when he's back at school?) We could fit ALL the Snuggies™ in one place.
