While we all like music around here, there are few bands that we can all agree on.
My husband is mostly into '80s pop and contemporary country.
His ventures into rock end with Bryan Adams and John Cougar/Mellencamp/whatever he's calling himself these days.
The rest of us enjoy a wider range of music. I'm into classic rock, as long as it's not too hard, with a little bit of Motown Girl Groups and '70s pop tossed in.
Mr. College Student likes just about any kind of rock, as well as some contemporary folk/bluegrass bands like Mumford & Sons. And like his sister, he's been known to listen to Big Band every now and again. She has the most varied tastes of all; she'll listen to just about anything except rap--or disco. Mr. Third Grader never gets to choose the radio station, so it's hard to know what he likes.
But there's one thing we all have in common, and now that it's December, we're enjoying it together: Trans-Siberian Orchestra. All our favorite Christmas music--with a twist of rock. We all agree that they're nothing short of amazing.
