Sometimes when I'm driving, I like to listen to the all-news radio station. With traffic every ten minutes, it's a good idea to tune in when I'm on my way to Philadelphia. 
All-news sometimes includes interesting "survey said" moments. I want to know how you get work in the world of these surveys, since some of them produce results that are so obvious I wonder how they got funded in the first place. But one of them grabbed my attention: who's better at parking the car--men or women?
I don't know how it is in your house, but around here, I'm definitely the better parker. When I was growing up, we had a long, hilly driveway that opened onto a very busy street. Dad trained all of us kids to back into the driveway so that it would be easier to exit later. To this day, I prefer to back into a driveway or parking spot rather than backing out. And since I usually drive a minivan, I've become quite adept at maneuvering that into all kinds of parking spaces.
My husband, not so much. You can tell who drove the van last by the way it's pointing in the driveway. My father-in-law, a former truck driver, used to tease him about his inability to park the van.
Apparently, though, we're the exception to the rule. The survey showed that men were better parkers. I'm wondering who their sample was, and betting that all the men were truck drivers like my father-in-law, while the women were soccer moms in Suburbans. That would explain these unexpected results.
