Anyone who thinks that they only have to worry about their house getting T.P.'ed has never attended a Cub Scout meeting.
Wait, that came out wrong. It's not that the Cub Scouts encourage vandalism. Far from it. But our local Cub Scout pack has a little annual tradition of playing a game called "Wrap the Mummy."
Guess who got roped into being the Mummy the first time they played that game? For the record, 1,000 sheets really do last longer.
I'm wise to their tricks now. So last week when I showed up at Cub Scouts after running to the store for something my husband (Mr. Cubmaster) needed for the meeting, I politely declined all invitations to stay and participate. I saw what he had hidden in that shopping bag, and it wasn't just string for practicing knot-tying and pens for signing up new members.
Mr. Cubmaster still has one more errand to run: he had taken all the extra toilet paper out of both bathrooms to bring to the meeting. At this rate, there won't be a square to spare.
