Over the weekend, I was doing one of those routine "Mom's Taxi" runs when I noticed something you don't see on the highway every day: a Pepto-Bismol-pink
stretch limo with flowers painted all over it.
Wedding gone wrong? No. This limo's paint job advertised it as a party car for preteen girls. The young ladies start the party at the "spa" where they get their nails done, and then get a limo ride to finish off the event.
I passed that limo at the next traffic light and looked over at the driver, who was about the right age to be the dad of any of his passengers. He did not look like he was having a very good time, and I certainly did not envy him his job.
There are some jobs that I might enjoy trying out: chef, cake decorator, book reviewer...but driving a pink limo around town in broad daylight with Justin Bieber music blaring in my ears is not one of them. I wonder if they made the poor guy wear a pink tie to work.
