It was a lot easier before she went to high school.

When she was in grade school, she carried one backpack, one binder and one lunchbox to school each day.  Now that she's in high school, she needs to carry books, a tablet computer, lunch, notebooks, makeup and field hockey equipment back and forth on the school bus.

I don't know where she puts it all when she gets there.  The school's lockers are not that big.

She has a very nice sports bag, but that's definitely too big for the locker.  As far as I know, it's in the girls' locker room (probably with a few dirty socks festering inside it.)  And while she owns not one but two backpacks, she never takes those to school.  Instead, she chooses to use two string bags--one for sports and one for school.

On rainy days, she wraps her tablet PC in a plastic shopping bag and carries it to the bus stop.

I think it's time for her to rework her packing method, however; it's too easy to leave stuff behind when you keep it in more than one place.  And her teachers and coaches are not so forgiving when she tells them that she forgot something at home.
