It's Leftover Day!  My sister is hosting Leftover Day festivities at her house this afternoon.  The rules are simple: bring your leftovers and your appetite.  She cooks an extra turkey, plus whatever pheasants the guys bagged on the Turkey Day Pheasant Hunt yesterday, and all her guests (over 30 of them!) bring along the cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, apple pies and green-bean casserole.

It doesn't matter if half the pie is gone...bring it anyway!  This is your opportunity to taste-test the favorite Thanksgiving dishes of family and friends.  There'll be a ton of choices and you're guaranteed not to leave hungry.

The kids will work up an appetite playing football and soccer in the backyard, no matter what the weather.  So we'll be sure to pack a set (or two) of clean, dry clothes for everyone.  It's a long ride, but it will be worth it to see everyone and, of course, to eat up those leftovers.  My cooler is packed and I'm ready to head to the Great White North and have my fill of leftovers and family fun.
