Have you ever tried doing logic puzzles? My favorite ones are "story" type puzzles that say things like:
There are six men sitting on a bench. Two of them have brown eyes. The man with the red hair is sitting next to the man with the blue tie. The men sitting at each end of the bench are eating ham sandwiches. The man with the red tie has a cup of coffee, but both people next to him have bottles of water. Which man has green eyes?
OK, that's not a real puzzle. But you get the idea.
When my kids were younger, I used to have a computer game that was based on puzzles like this. While it doesn't have the most amazing graphics, it was a great puzzle game and I enjoyed taking a few minutes here and there to give myself a little mental challenge. But it's been almost 10 years since I've played the game. Then I found out that the game's creator has made a version of this game, called Sherlock, for the iPhone or iPod touch!
I love how this fun and clever game has been developed for more platforms so that I can still play it. Because the best thing about a game like this is that it never gets old. It's a new challenge every time you play. And now I can take that game with me wherever I go.
