Every year, there is at least one holiday decoration that I miss when I'm putting all the Christmas stuff away in January.  It's always interesting to see how long I'm going to go before I notice it.

I think that this year I've set a record.  I found the 2010 Renegade Decoration in late September.

At that point, it was hardly worth taking it down and putting it away!  It's going to be time to hang it back up in only about six weeks.

Unfortunately, my family is no help in this department.  My husband still hasn't noticed that new toaster, and the kids (if they saw the decoration at all) never mentioned anything.  I guess it just became such a familiar sight that no one even saw it anymore.  The question is:  will I hang this decoration again this December?  After all, it hung around for almost the whole year, so maybe it's time to put something fresh and different in that spot.
