The last time I heard "That's Amore," I was watching Moonstruck. So I was quite surprised to hear my 8-year-old humming the tune. But then I saw the new UPS commercial, and I knew why he knew the old Dean Martin song. 
UPS has done a clever rewrite of the lyrics, and I've got the song stuck in my head now too. But I wanted Mr. Third Grader to know that this was a sweet song in its own right before Madison Avenue got hold of the tune.
So I cued up a Youtube video of Dean Martin performing the original song. Mr. Third Grader gave it about fifteen seconds.
"I don't like it," he said, turning back to SportsCenter and hoping that they'd cut to a UPS commercial soon so he could sing his favorite line: "...that's logiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiistics!"
