I love Halloween. A whole holiday devoted to fun and candy. What could be better?

is worried about Halloween this year, for some reason. "Mom, we have no Halloween decorations," he declared the other day.
This is nothing new. We never have Halloween decorations. Actually, this year we have three big pumpkins and three little pumpkins, plus one ceramic pumpkin hanging near the bird feeder. That's a lot more decoration than I usually do. So I asked him what the problem was.
"If we don't have decorations, no one will trick-or-treat at our house!"
Because the open front door and bright porch light isn't enough?
"No problem," I told him. "That's more candy for me."
"You mean more Milky Ways for you."
Exactly.
