There's plenty to be found on sale in September; it's the best time to buy:

Grills, patio furniture and grill supplies:  there's still lots of time to enjoy these!

Party supplies

School supplies. School's just begun, and school stuff's already on clearance! Stock up now for those mid-year crayon shortages--you know the markers will run dry by January, and not too long after that, there won't be any notebook pages left. Just duplicate the set you already purchased and sent off to school in your child's backpack, and you'll be all set. Anything left over can be applied to next year's supply list.

Large appliances (refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, dishwashers).   Next year's models are already appearing in showrooms, and you know what that means:  dealers want to clear out the perfectly good 2010 models.  Now's the time to take advantage of that!

Cars: again, the 2011 models are hitting the dealers' lots now. Help them make room by taking a great deal on a 2010!
Lawn mowers. I'm pleased to report that we've done our part in this department, since our lawn mower conveniently died right at the best time to buy a new one.

Trees, shrubs and bulbs: it's finally cool enough to plant these without killing them!

New tires.  Make sure you're set with winter weather--this is a great time to get those tires replaced.

Swimsuits

MP3 players

Wine

Jewelry

It's time to fill those shopping carts:  and don't forget to look for great free shipping deals as well!

Check back on Monday for more great coupons and, of course, Weird Holidays.
