I tried this tip last weekend after Mr. Third Grader had way too much Kool-Aid at a Boy Scout event.

More precisely, he had way too much Bug Juice. (That's Scoutish for "Kool-Aid.")

Anyway, Mr. Third Grader was sporting that trademark Kool-Aid mustache, which is not an approved fashion accessory at his school.

But I removed it in only 2 minutes--gently! I just took a wet washcloth, put a little toothpaste on there, and rubbed his face.   Before I knew it, his face was clean, and minty fresh too.

Did you know that toothpaste (the standard white-paste variety) is great for more than just cleaning teeth?  Besides taking care of Kool-Aid mustaches, you can also clean your watchbands, the rubber sides of tennis-shoe soles, jewelry, and chrome.  You can also use it as a quick--and cheap--substitute for poster putty and to fill in small holes in your white walls.

With all those uses for ordinary toothpaste, it's good to stock up when you find it at a great price!
