The easiest thing about back-to-school for my family is the wardrobe.  There are no fights, because there are no choices.  My kids' schools require that they wear uniforms.

The kids might not like it much, but I sure do.  In the morning, the only question that comes up is whether they'll need short sleeves, long sleeves, or a sweater.  Beyond that, there's not going to be an issue (unless the school shoes go missing--yikes!)

Once every month or so, some group at the school decides to hold a fund-raiser:  a No-Uniform Day.  The kids love them.  I hate them.  I have to pay for the privilege of having a fight with my children over what clothes they'll wear to school that day.  It involves waking everyone up a half-hour earlier so they can decide, because whatever they chose the night before is suddenly all wrong.  The only good thing about No-Uniform Days is that they remind me how thankful I am that I don't have to go through that sort of thing every morning.

If your kids attend schools with uniforms or dress codes, we've got a spotlight on Boys' Uniforms and Girls' Uniforms right here!
