I was on Facebook the other night when a friend of mine posted about her great garage-sale deal: a really cute vintage handbag in great condition. After she took it home, she found that the purse wasn't empty. 
There was no money in it, but there was a bundle of love letters, dated 1968. And one of them was too good not to share:
"Dear Sheila, my love, I miss you. Spent the day with my sister and her stupid [expletive deleted] husband today."
If that's what passed for romance in 1968, I'm glad I was too young to care about such things then.
And the moral of the story is: Be careful where you leave your stuff; you never know when someone else will find it and post it on Facebook!
