You're never too old to have a Princess Party. Just ask our friend Miss Sweet Sixteen, who celebrated her special day in her own special style. 
She's a happy young woman who's still a kid at heart. So when her birthday came along, a bunch of us decided to make sure she'd have everything a princess needs to enjoy the day. We got her all set up with mini-tiaras, glow bracelets, stickers, Silly Bandz, party plates and more.
For her birthday cake, her mom borrowed my old "Barbie Princess" cake pan--the one that lets you make a cake shaped like the doll's skirt, so you can stick the upper half of the doll into the cake. To be honest, I never thought that I'd be lending out this pan to someone with a 16-year-old daughter, but the idea makes me smile.
The birthday girl shared her tiaras and glow bracelets with her friends on a recent trip to the NJ shore. They even wore their tiaras to the boardwalk.
Cheers to Miss Sweet Sixteen for having lots of fun on her special day and for allowing herself and her friends to be kids again, even for only one evening.
