Who's better: Flo from Progressive or the Geico caveman?
And what about the Geico gecko? Why do they have two very different spokes...um...is "spokespeople" even a valid term when you're talking about an animal?
We're big fans of the insurance commercials around here. They're clever and they get your attention. No one goes to change the channel when Flo's on TV. And let's not forget the smooth-talking Allstate guy, Dennis Haysbert. He doesn't wear a costume, but he sure does have a nice voice.
I told the kids that they could be insurance icons for Halloween. My daughter could easily be Flo, and there must be a gecko suit somewhere out there for my younger son. If the older one happens to come home from college, he could go as a caveman. I'm sure he'll need a haircut by then anyway.
One thing we can all agree on: the insurance industry is putting out some of the best commercials on TV.
