It's getting to be prom season, and you know what that means: the girls are going to get busy with the fake tans.
My son came home from school shortly before his senior trip to Florida reporting that the Oompa-Loompas had invaded the building.
Apparently many of the girls in his class had been a little overzealous with the spray tans, and they had turned a not-so-lovely shade of orange.
My son reported that this spectacle was pretty funny, and at the same time a little frightening.
While sunbathing is certainly bad for your skin, running around a high school with an orange complexion isn't going to do much for a girl's image. And apparently this trend is filtering down to the eighth grade--my daughter mentioned the other day that a girl in her class is using bronzer on her knees. Only on her knees. It's an interesting look, to say the least.
