I'd venture to say that Mother's Day is the single-most-difficult gift-giving holiday of all. It might even be tougher than Valentine's Day. 
And it's coming up--in just over one week! Are you ready? (I'm not!)
In case you'd like some helpful hints about Mother's Day shopping, I figured I'd share these tips:
If it's something that plugs in, whether it's a cooking appliance or entertainment item, make sure it's something she wants.
Don't give anything diet- or exercise-related if you want to end Mother's Day without any black eyes.
The same goes for cleaning appliances. No one likes to be told that she's not keeping the house clean enough.
Jewelry's nice--if she wears it.
