We all scream for ice cream!
Yes, we like our ice cream in this house. 
And visitors to the house can tell that, just by looking at our silverware.
You see, we're not always careful to use an ice-cream scoop to dish out our favorite after-dinner treat. So finding a teaspoon without a bent handle can be a real challenge.
It might be time to invest in some heavier-duty flatware, and to make sure that everyone can find the ice-cream scoop when they're dishing up dessert. That would make our dinner table look a little more presentable.
But what to do with all those bent teaspoons? I've got a plan for that. The kids like to take things like soup, yogurt, and strawberries to school in their lunchboxes. That's great in my book--those are all nutritious foods. But they all require utensils, and sometimes the spoons go to school with a kid and never come back. So I can save our former ice-cream spoons and use them for lunchboxes. If they get lost, it's no big deal.
