I'm a 5-cup-a-day coffee drinker (it's decaf, folks--otherwise I'd never sleep at night!) so it's safe to say that I enjoy my coffee. 
I like tea as well, but coffee is definitely my hot beverage of choice.
Then I was out shopping and I was offered a sample of a peppermint chai latte. Wow, that was good. I didn't think I liked tea with milk in it, but that was good.
You guessed it--I bought a box of those chai tea bags so I could make my own chai latte at home. It tasted great, too, just like the sample I had at the store.
There was one problem, though. I drink coffee with milk, tea without. So I kept expecting that drink in the cup, which looked like coffee, to taste like coffee--and it was always a surprise when I'd take a sip and taste chai tea instead of coffee!
