In the mornings, when everyone around here is getting ready for school, my best friend is Bus Stop Buddy. 
He's a little gimmick they use on one of the local news programs--kind of like a paper doll that they dress and accessorize each day in weather-appropriate garb.
I don't know about the other moms in the Delaware Valley, but I'll freely admit that I let Bus Stop Buddy be the bad guy in my house every morning.
Kids arguing about whether they have to wear a jacket, hat, gloves or scarf? No problem. I'll just flip on the TV (or change the channel since they're usually already watching SpongeBob) and let them take a look at what Bus Stop Buddy is wearing today. Usually the argument ends right there.
Now that spring is here, we're hoping to see Bus Stop Buddy sporting a pair of cool shades rather than a rain slicker and umbrella. We've had more than enough of that in the past couple of weeks.
