Baseball season is about to begin. That means moms everywhere are going to be living a laundry nightmare.
I just don't get the point of dressing little-leaguers in white baseball pants. Even the pros can't stay clean, but I'm sure they've got their own professional laundry people to deal with that problem--or they get a brand-new uniform for every game.
Neither one of those options is in my budget, thank you very much. So I'm looking at a spring filled with cold metal bleachers, mud puddles in the infield, and white baseball pants that stay clean for less than five minutes on my eight-year-old. Knowing him, he'll be covered in dirt before his first turn at bat.
Wouldn't black be a more practical choice?
I'm convinced that the baseball industry is in cahoots with the makers of Oxy-Clean. Surely I'm not the first person to suggest that white pants don't work when you play a sport that involves sliding in the dirt. I can't come up with any other explanation for their insistence on a completely impractical wardrobe.

Stain Stick is the best thing for uniforms that can't be bleached
I totally agree I used stain Stick on everything. Thanks for the great coupon.
