You know how some movies were made to be seen on the big screen? speed_skating How they're just not quite the same when you view them on a measly, ancient 27-inch television?

The Olympics are the same way.  If you're going to watch those snowboarders getting big air, you want to see them on a big screen.

I have to admit that while I'm almost never tempted to replace our old TV, I'm tempted now.  It wasn't too bad until we were out at the diner the other day, and we got to see what those ski jumpers looked like on a screen larger than our table for five.  Now that was impressive.  Plus, all that info that's scrolling along the bottom of the screen isn't cut off because the screen size is just too small.

But if we do decide to replace our TV, the Wii's going to stay attached to the old one.  Our younger son and his friends tend to creep up on the screen, and we've already had controllers bounce off the glass.  That would be a flat-screen killer for sure.
