The latest trend at some high-end British hotels: human bedwarmers.
That's right. For travelers who hate cold sheets, three British hotels are offering more than the standard "turn down the covers and leave a mint on the pillow" service. If a guest requests it, a hotel staffer will slip into an all-in-one fleece suit (read: "footie pajamas"), cover his hair, and lie down in the bed until the temperature reaches a cozy 20 degrees Celsius (that's 68 Fahrenheit).
Remind me not to travel to Britain anytime soon. That whole idea is just way too icky for me.
What if the footie-pajama'ed staffer gets so comfy in the bed that he falls asleep in there? Who wants to return to their hotel room and find someone sleeping in their bed?
Look how it turned out for Goldilocks.

One Response to “Travelers Beware!”
That is weird, why would a hotel do that? Wouldn't it make better sense to place a heating pad in the bed or bed warmer or something a little less invasive? Maybe it's a way of generating tips or something, but yeah, it's weird.
