A bunch of my facebook friends are chatting about the decorations they'll be putting up on Sunday for their Super Bowl parties.super-bowl-party-decos

Here's my question:  do you choose "generic" football-themed decorations, or do you go all out and decorate in your favorite team's colors?

And how would that work if some of your guests are rooting for the opposing team?

Personally, I wish that the Super Bowl took place earlier in the day.  Those of us who aren't night owls and who have to wake up for work or to send the kids off to school on Monday morning don't want to watch a football game that is only half over at bedtime.  I have the feeling that all my Super-Bowl-Sunday munchies, including those hoagies I ordered from the church fund-raiser and the nachos I'm making from my friend Barb's recipe, are going to be long gone by kickoff time.  I guess that's the hazard of living on the East Coast.

I think I'm going to have to do a little party shopping before the game.  I'm thinking that if I get some balloons, my energetic 7-year-old will be busy tossing those around the family room rather than using his real football.  So...will they be "football orange," Colts blue and white, or Saints black and gold?
