With all the classic rock that we listen to around here, it wasn't too surprising to anyone that I couldn't resist picking up a Woodstock-themed puzzle when I found one at the bookstore recently. 
This puzzle is a replica of the original posters advertising the festival, before the venue was changed to Yasgur's farm in Woodstock.
I've been working on this puzzle for four weeks now, and I've gotten everything done but the red.
There's a lot of red in this puzzle.
My kids lost interest once the lettering was done (the small lettering listing all the bands was the easiest part of the puzzle). They've left me to deal with the hard stuff like the dove and all that red. I haven't even completed the border yet.
Meanwhile, my teenage son has taken off with the replica poster that came inside the puzzle box, since I don't need it anymore to do the red pieces.
One of these days I'll get my coffee table back, though, and I'll admit right now that this is the motivation for finishing the puzzle. It's getting pretty dusty, but you can't dust a table that has puzzle pieces all over it. Maybe the best thing to do would be to turn on some classic rock and just get busy.
