That's one delicious way to get your vitamins, even if Ralphie wasn't too happy that all his Li'l Orphan Annie Decoder Ring produced was a commercial. 
I don't drink Ovaltine (I prefer my milk icy cold and plain), so I make sure to take my vitamins every day instead. My kids take vitamins too, since none of them are big milk drinkers.
But getting my kids to take vitamins is no longer a problem. After years of battles with them over those pink, orange and purple prescription vitamins from the pediatrician, we've all found something better: gummie vitamins.
I resisted buying these for a long time, since all my kids like gummie candy (what kid doesn't?) and I was afraid that they'd eat the whole bottle in one day, downing a toxic dose of vitamins in the process. Yes, there can be too much of a good thing. The kids finally wore me down, though, and I keep a tight lid on that jar. But it's worked out well.
My younger son likes to put gummies on his ice cream, but we almost never have them in the house. Now, though, he gets his two gummie vitamins on top of his ice cream each night. He never forgets to take his vitamins anymore--this has worked out much better than I ever dreamed.
My niece can recommend Flintstones vitamins all she wants, but we're sticking with the gummies around here.
